Customer Reviews of Dropps Laundry Pacs, Scent + Dye Free, 42-load pouch (pack of 2)Customer Review: I really love these Summary: 5 Stars
For context: I have a HE front-loader.
There's a couple of obvious groups where this is a no-brainer. People who live in apartments or otherwise have to carry detergent. People who like to have some when they travel. People who are disabled or otherwise have trouble manipulating a big heavy container or measuring.
For me, for daily use, most of that doesn't apply. But it's still nice when you're in a rush just to chuck in one of these and throw in the clothes and hit start and run back to the baby before she explodes. And it does work really well - one pouch always does the job, even though the package recommends two for larger loads. Maybe that's a HE thing, maybe that's because I pre-treat anything really nasty (i.e. dump on some conventional cleaner and vaugely rub it and chuck it in. I suspect I should be doing a better job of that but it works OK).
I've used both the scented and unscented. My preference is for the scent/dye free versions but they both clean the same.
Customer Review: These are incredible. I wont be buying anything else. Summary: 5 Stars
Talk about convenient! 4 packs last 6 months for 2 of us here. I use Amazon's Subscribe & Save to send every 6 months to save even more. Absolutely no scent to these. They recommend using 2 for a large load but we use 1 and it cleans great. When you toss it into the washer you think can these things really clean that well?
Tide and All is what we no longer use and these work as good if not better. You should also know we use cold water for everything except for our whites.
They dissolve in a matter of minutes even in cold water and no mess or empty bottle to throw out after it has been used.
They also recommend using something else to treat stains...but so far it seems to take everything out just fine.
I really hope to see these in Target. People are going to love these. Try them out you will be glad you did.
Customer Review: Perfect for a busy mom! Summary: 5 Stars
I was born and raised to use Tide and never, ever thought of using something else until I saw these at the store.
Pros:
- Extremely easy to use - drop it in the washer and go
- Small footprint and less packaging - it doesn't take up much room in my "laundry room" (a closet)
- Neat - No messy measuring or leaky/drippy bottles and I've never received a package with a leaking Pac
- Very gently - my kids have sensitive skin and we haven't had any issues with these
- As efficient as Tide - these seem to get our clothes just as clean as the Tide detergent we were using before without any fading, etc.
Cons:
- none I can think of
These have saved me a ton of time and make doing laundry a lot easier. I love them!
Customer Review: dropps - Summary: 5 Stars
I use Dropps all the time, delighted not to carry detergent bottles any more. My clothes are cleaner and softer than with the liquid detergent I have always used.
I was startled to find a similar packaging in France in September, but find Dropps even better than the French soap.
I have tried both the scented and unscented and like them both. There is no strong smell just freshness with the scented ones.
The convenience of having Amazon ship Dropps to me monthly is also great.Target has placed Dropps on the Tide shelf but you have to look hard to find the packages.
I am going to give Dropps as a green holiday gift.
Customer Review: good for the environment and your clothes Summary: 5 Stars
I like everything about Dropps! They clean great, and leave laundry soft. I was surprised that these tiny pacs can do such a good job. They are perfect for those who are sensitive to scents or other additives. They have no phosphates or enzymes, a plus for the environment, as is the packaging. It takes up less space in the laundry room and makes less trash. You just toss it in the washing machine and it dissolves completely. You can take them when you travel (I use them when we go camping). And it works well in all temperatures, an energy saving bonus. They also come in a scented variety, if allergies are not a problem for you.
