Customer Reviews of Duracell AA 4 Pre-Charged Rechargeable NiMH Batteries DX1500Customer Review: Miserable and time consuming process Summary: 2 Stars
I've used these for over a year now, they're awful, it would have been cheaper and more convenient to buy regular batteries. They do NOT hold a charge for longer than a couple weeks. You're unlikely to want to bother recharging at a 6-8 hour charge time just so you can use the battery for a short duration. It's a pain changing batteries as often as I do and have stopped using them with all but one device. Waste of money. I only gave it an extra star because changing the batteries in my mouse is relatively easy and I still use two (of the twelve I bought) for that.
Customer Review: This is how batteries should be made! Summary: 5 Stars
Pros:
-For a rechargeable battery, these batteries does not need to be charged before you use it for the first time; right from the packaging into your gadgets.
-They last a long time.
-Does not need special charger. You can use your existing NiMh charger.
Cons:
-You can confuse them with regular Duracells and mistakenly thrown away after losing charge.
-This later technology is still expensive.
I also like Eneloops by Sanyo. But they are not easily available at your local stores.
Customer Review: Buy The Eneloops Summary: 1 Stars
These are terrible, they do not hold a charge and some have stopped working. I have Eneloop batteries purchased at the same time and used for the same devices and without a doubt the Eneloop batteries are FAR superior to the Duracell NiMH, these are junk, do not say you were not warned! The Eneloop batteries perform perfectly, I have a La Crosse Technology BC-9009 AlphaPower Battery Charger and have tried every trick in the book to get the Duracell batteries to perform like they should, but they just don't work.
Customer Review: Rebranded Eneloops? Summary: 4 Stars
I got these (Made in Japan) cells at a convenience store for almost twice the Amazon price. If you look at the terminals and white inner wrapping around the positive terminal, you can surmise these are Eneloops in a Duracell wrapper. They are great rechargeable, with similar performance and low-discharge. The only difference is that these Duracell ones give off a consistent chemical odor, regardless if they're sitting idle, charging, or discharging. Original Eneloop cells don't have this noxious property.
Customer Review: Best rechargeable batteries I've ever used! Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased these batteries for my digital camera. I was previously using "regular" rechargeable batteries, but they did not stay charged for very long. After just a few photos I would get the low battery warning. I tried these pre-charged batteries and was impressed. The charge lasted much longer. I'm going to use these batteries from now on.Duracell Pre Charged Rechargeable NiMH AA Batteries, 4-Pack
