I have both the black top and the white top Duracells precharged batteries, and they work well. The only problem I have is that all the Duracell precharged and rechargable batteries and the Energizer rechargable batteries don't fit in some of the battery opperated devices that I've had for a while. I don't like using nonrechargable batteries, because they are not green, but what is a person to do. Does anyone know why they changed the size of batteries? Was it necessary?Customer Review: Pre charged? Uh, no.

I received these batteries today and immediately opened the package. They claim to be for high drain use, so I put them into my pet's laser toy. It barely lit up! I popped them into their charger and 6 hours later put them back into the toy. They worked this time, but it's certainly not as bright as with regular batteries. Within 5 minutes it's already dimmed by 50%. We'll see how long they last, but at least they're rechargable - going through 4 AAs a week was expensive!Customer Review: Only batteries I use in my camera flashes

I have bought 8 packs of these over the past 6 months for use in camera flashes. I am a professional photographer, and after trying normal rechargeable batteries, I switched to these because they don't self discharge. I use mine only in Canon Speedlites, but if they can provide enough power to keep them recycling quickly, I'm sure they can keep up with anything. If you are looking for batteries that will stay charged in a device or bag when not in use, get these.Customer Review: These do not hold a good charge

I ordered these at the end of October as a spare set of batteries for my digital camera which I use about once a week or less. Although I have used plenty of other brands of rechargeables for this purpose, these batteries have not been at all satisfactory. They have never held a good charge and by Christmas would not even fire up my camera to take a picture. I have tried completely discharging the batteries and then charging them but they are still unusable.Customer Review: WILL NOT hold a charge!

I bought these batteries due, in large part, to the claim that they will hold a charge for a year. That is a lie. They won't hold a charge for a week. I tested the batteries with a multimeter right after taking them off the charger and they give a solid 1.5 V. A week later, no use, just sitting on the table, they read 0.2 V.
I used to think Duracell was a quality brand name...not anymore. I'll be buying my batteries somewhere else from now on.
