I bout these before i went away on vacation in may 2009 and i did not recharge these until august 2009. i had another pair of rechargeables that would not work if you left it sitting for even a week and at full charge they were to weak to work in my mp3 player, But these Duracell's are simply the best rechargeables i have owned so far i plan to buy more.Customer Review: So much cheaper than at CVS

I really regret buying this exact same pack of batteries from CVS last week, but we needed batteries pretty urgently and I didn't want to buy non-rechargeable ones. This exact same pack cost me $15.99 before tax at CVS. Urgh. Will never do that again. I just ordered two packs from Amazon, which will always be my first shopping stop whenever possible.Customer Review: Terrible batteries

Bought 4 packages of these. After 3-4 cycles 5 of the batteries are already trash. I also bought two sets of Sanyo batteries rated at 1700mah that outlast these 2 to 1. Dont waste your money on these expensive poor quality batteries. I am dilligent about proper discharging and recharging, I tend to get much more life from batteries than most do.Customer Review: Good pre-charged NiMH battery.

Works as it should for a precharged NiMH. Long charge retention and good discharge characteristics when used in application.

I only wish Duracell would change the coloring more to distinguish them from regular batteries. It's too easy to confuse the two types and throw away the super expensive rechargeable ones.

I was happy to find that Amazon shipped me the preferred white topped, re-branded Sanyo version of these batteries.
They were indeed charged, right from the package.
Am currently using them in a universal remote control with backlit keys. Hoping to have the same good results as so many other reviewers here.
