Has your electronic device started blinking low battery and it is time to recharge?
Duracell has come out with excellent products to assist you. I field tested the Instant USB and Powerhouse devices. They both are rechargeable batteries, which have a min-usb and micro-usb plug which fits most mobile devices. These batteries are small enough to pack away and one is pocket sized ,which is the Instant USB. They are ideal for a long flight. The Powerhouse will keep your device charged up to 60 hours and the Instant USB 35 hours.
I was amazed at how useful it could be as I am on the road most of the day and I can charge my devices in my vehicle. Have you ever been in a long meeting and no place to plug in a charger? All you have to do is take out one of these rechargeable batteries and you immediately recharging your device with out a power outlet.
The other great product Duracell came up with is the Power Grid. Cell phones, mp3 and electronic devices all need to be charged, which leads to a mess of power cords and charger. This leads into a big ball knotted of wires. The Power Grid is a small grid the size of 6.75 by 8.5, which you use to charge your portable devices.
The grid is where you place your devices on. Duracell has special rubber cases for the I-phone, and Blackberry devices. These rubber cases just slip on and they also provide protection for the device. The Power Grid also comes out with adapters which fit in the micro and mini usb ports of the phone. These adapters are attached by double sided tape. It is something to see when you place your device on the grid and it starts charging without any wires. Seeing the a nice looking grid is well worth the cost of the device. The only draw back is that if you use a car charger you won't be able to use it as the device as the adapter is using the charging port. My opinion is most people can get easily get thru a day with charging the phone in a car charger and this should not represent a problem for most of the people.
