Bought 4 packages of these. After 3-4 cycles 5 of the batteries are already trash. I also bought two sets of Sanyo batteries rated at 1700mah that outlast these 2 to 1. Dont waste your money on these expensive poor quality batteries. I am dilligent about proper discharging and recharging, I tend to get much more life from batteries than most do.Customer Review: Can't have too many

I'm a newspaper photographer and I burn through tons of batteries for my flash units. On any given day, I use three different units, all using AA batteries. I started out with standard non-rechargeable units and they got way too expensive. NiCad batteries were next but they built up a memory and didn't last. Then came NiMH batteries. I'm very satisfied with the Duracell batteries. They came charged, which isn't a big thing for me as I always keep a fast charger handy. They performed quite well the first week or so. I drained them then charged them to try to get the most out of the cells. I've always been told to FAST CHARGE them, not trickle charge so that's what I do. After about the first week, and constant high drain flashes, they still are performing ok. I've noticed they don't have the original capacity they did originally but they still function ok. I would recommend these to anyone who wants to save money over non-rechargeable batteries and just to keep a spare set just in case. There are higher capacity cells out there which may be an option, with a higher price but, you will be satisfied with these.Customer Review: This item is bad

When I received my order, I'm glad. It's inexpensive, because "DURACELL" is a good brand in my mind.
When I used it, I was very disappointment. Although it's "Pre Charged", but when I used, It can't take any photo. When I recharge it, it can take photos. But took only about 10 photos, the low battery icon had appeared.

They work and last. Not much more to say. These Duracell Rechargeable batteries come pre-charged and ready to go and if you have the 15-minute chargers you're never a long ways away from freshly charged batteries. I honestly don't know why you wouldn't get rechargeable batteries in this day and age, and these are a great buy.
