Customer Review: Great for dog owners

I bought this for a unique and specific purpose- playing fetch with my dog. I've got a high energy Boston Terrier who loves nothing more than chasing tennis balls in the yard but I've got a bad back so bending over to pick up the ball 50+ times every day is very painful. This tool not only allows me to play with my dog without bending over, it also flings the tennis ball farther than I could throw it on my own and saves my hands from getting covered with dog slobber.
I know most people use the tool for other purposes, but my use just speaks to its versatility. Great product.

I have purchased 4 different reachers in the past 8 months and this one seems to be the best so far. My gopher was good but like most the suction cups fell off. My pik stik took to much effort to squeeze the handle. The 3rd one fell apart the 1st time I squeezed the handle.This one has many pro's and few cons.

I did not notice that the (trigger) of the reacher was so small. I already own a 26" and wanted another one. First, I ordered the wrong size and did not realize it until I received it (my mistake). Second, I did not realize that the trigger part was so small; I assumed they were the same size as the one I own. With it being so much smaller than the one I own and the reacher being longer, it will not hook onto the back of the chair or a doorknob, which is a big inconvenience.

I have previously had this type of product with the 2 rubber grippers at the bottom. Often, one side would lose the screw, the rubber would fly across the room, and it was useless. Thinking this was a magnetic reacher it would be better, I was surprised. When you grip the handle to actually pick up something, the gripper at the bottom isn't large or strong enough to do the job. So, it renders itself useless. I just bought another with the rubber grippers at the bottom!Customer Review: Gigi's Extra hand

My mother recently broke her hip and now needs little extras to make her life easier. When she was in rehab, after her hip replacement, they gave her one of these reachers. She also needed one for the bathroom, so she whe wouldn't be bothered with extras to attach to her walker. It now hangs on a cupboard handle, and she is now a happy camper.
Thank you for having it available for us to purchase. She really loves it.
