I am using this to help me in the garden. It won't lift really heavy things but helps me pull up the hose to move it, etc. It is lite which is nice. Haven't had it long enough to know how durable it is. It uses a nylon cord to pull the claw, and I wonder how long this will last. But so far I am pleased with it.Customer Review: An essential tool

I love this tool so much so that when I lost mine, I immediately when online and bought two more, to use in different rooms. I found the one I thought I had lost and gave it to a friend. I'm 64 with limited mobility. A friend suggested that one of these "reacher things" might be useful. I read reviews by others at Amazon and chose this one. Good product. Not much grabbing strength but very usable for light objects (keys, socks, etc). Magnet is strong and pulled out of tip when I tried to unattach it from my cane. Couldn't put magnet back into the small slot. Not a big issue though. I bought 2 so I have one at home and one in my car.Customer Review: Doesn't pick up small things

The Grab-it I had worked wonderfully, but it broke. It could even pick up a tiny Aspirin. The item I purchased to replace my broken unit won't pick up a piece of paper, and Aspirin or anything very small. I am not sure if the tip is properly aligned. It is a little frustrating to use.
