I bought this bench for My elderly Mom, who is physically challenged, and unable to step into a tub. The bench is very stable, does not flip over, She sits and with help, slides in, and then takes Her own shower, while in the tub. Cut out helps , clean difficult areas,with hand held shower,, Shower curtain was difficult to adjust, but I made, longitudnal slits in it, so it falls in and thus no water comes out. I would ask anyone to give it a try. It is also reasonably priced.Amazon told Me as I bought it from them , it could be returned, if it does not workout. I am not returning it. It works as I expected.

Comfortable, contoured, blow-molded plastic seats feature non-slip textured surface. Height is easily adjustable to allow for a variety of users. Designed for ease and safety in the tub or shower. Seat effortlessly slides side to side minimizing physical strain on user and caregiver. Constructed of a durable, lightweight aluminum frame. Blow-molded plastic seat and back with textured, non-slip surface. Cut-out is easily removed for perineal washing access. Features adjustable legs with suction-cup, slip-resistant tips. Nylon strap locks and holds seat in place during transfers and bathing. Hook and loop style seat belt helps provide additional safety. Seat height adjusts from 19" to 23" in 1" increments.
