Worth repeating is that you can't beat the price of this test, but the positive line is very faint. That can be a little hard to handle when you're already excited/nervous about being pregnant. You might start second guessing yourself. They are accurate though, even compared to more expensive brands. With my two kids, I couldn't get a First Response test to say positive weeks after I had confirmation from other tests and even the doctor's office (I had some to use up). Don't believe the national brands telling you that you can test 5 or 6 days before your missed period, that just means more wasted tests for them to make their big bucks off. If you're concerned about peeing in a cup, don't be. Take a larger container into the shower with you so you have more space. Also, if you can't handle peeing in a cup, forget about getting pregnant because it's the first thing you have to do at every OB visit. Get these tests, but if you see that positive line, trust it. You won't see it AT ALL if it's negative. Also, look at the instructions carefully and note exactly where a positive result would read. There's a white strip lower on the test stick that I thought was the test area, but it's actually really close to the control line... I didn't actually know this until a faint lined showed up right by it, I was pregnant.

That means you can begin testing accurately just 6 to 8 days after conception - well before your first missed period.
