Because I'm used to buying the cheapest detergents, and I've only used this for a month, I'm still trying to decide if it's worth the money. I changed because of my baby's sensitive skin. I don't think it's been long enough to tell if the difference is related to the detergent. I do like the "clean" smell of the clothes when finished, and I like that the clothes are very soft even though I haven't used a drop of fabric softener. So far, it seems to be cleaning everything sufficiently.

This actually works as advertised. It's a better detergent than the usual cleaners, leaves clothes bright, soft without using added fabric softeners or dryer sheets. Definitely pre-treat grease-oil spots on clothing first, it's not likely to get them out otherwise. Very worth using, economical as a Subscription. I won't get caught without it because after using it, commercial detergents smell hellish with perfume and they don't dissolve anywhere as well as Ecos does.Customer Review: this detergent works well

Low sudsing and rinses clean. Works great for cloth diapers. Cleans as well as or better than anything else I've used and doesn't leave everything overly-perfumed. Doesn't have fabric softener, but if I need to use the dryer I use dryer balls and those seem to work fine, no problems with static. Great price with subscribe n save and prime, less than $8 a bottle - can't beat that. Plus, I don't have to remember to buy it. Would definitely recommend.Customer Review: Great for Sensitive Skin!

This brand of detergent, both the Free and the Magnolia and Lilly are the only detergents we have found recently that doesn't cause my wife to break out in hives. We made the mistake of trying 2x concentrated Tide and she broke out in horrible hives. Several weeks later and a lot of loads of laundry done in Ecos and we are finally getting things under control. I wanted to like this product. My white sport socks just do not get clean. I've used hot water, ECOS, and environmentally safe bleach, and my sport socks look dirty after being washed. (I guess the bleach isn't very effective either.) My 'domestic goddess' friend also tried the ECOS. She asked me if I wanted the rest of hers, because she didn't think it got her clothes very clean. Bummer.
