This product works wonders not just on laundry! It will take out wine stain on carpet and furniture. A glass of red wine was spilled on the carpet and I tried everything; a product dedicated to taking wine stains out of carpet, my steam cleaner vacuum, kosher salt, white wine, white vinegar by itself, but nothing worked. After a day, you can still see the remains of the spill. Being desperate, I decided to give this a try. I sprinkled one scoop on the carpet, a little of Eco's laundry detergent, then mixed it with white vinegar. Let it sit for about 20 minutes, then used my hand-held "green machine" vacuum to vacuum up the excess liquid and granules. I couldn't believe my own eyes, the stain was completely gone! After trying for over a day unsuccessfully, I couldn't believe there was no evidence of the wine on the carpet. Eco's laundry detergent is made by the same company. Those two combined work great in ridding sweat stains and ring around the collar. Also, Eco's is friendly on the environment and your pipes!

I started using Oxobrite for laundry whites (does a great job) but also found that it whitens the kitchen sink and bathroom shower floor, too. I just sprinkle a little in the two kitchen sinks, stopper the sink and add a little water and let it soak for 10-20 minutes. The sinks look great. I also add the kitchen sponges during the soak and they come out bright and smelling fresh. For the shower, I sprinkle some on the floor and use a wet brush to swish around and let sit awhile. Again, it leaves the floor bright and clean. Great product!Customer Review: Absolutely the BEST!

Honestly I only just started using this for laundry and it is, of course, amazing. My clothes just smell completely clean and are stain free! What I've been using it for these last few years is spot cleaning my rugs and furniture. It has taken sharpee marker up off of my couch and every imaginable stain off of the carpets. I used to be able to find it at Trader Joe's but Amazon is awesome and it's good to know I can get it here. Can't say enough about this stuff!Customer Review: Glad I Found OXO Brite!

I received this product about 2 months ago and I've been using it with the homemade laundry detergent I made.
Was skeptical at first that I would get the same great results the higher priced products such as OxyClean and OxyWash,
but OXO Brite does as good at cleaning/stain removal. I will definately order more in the future. The only problem
I had was that during shipping, seems one of the buckets broke open and some of the powder spilled out.

I purchased this product in bulk (two containers) but only received one initially. Amazon was great and sent a brand new order of two immediately. Unfortunately, one of those two was damaged and I ended up with white powder all over my house when I opened the package - quite a mess. I noticed that the product also clumps up in the washing machine and doesn't completely dissolve. I'm going back to the "clean" version of this type of product.
