These blotting papers work just fine. Although they're not as "potent" as other more commercial blotters, they definitely do work. I acutally prefer Earth Therapeutics' blotting papers because they are free of chemicals and are not tested on animals. Additionally, being made of rice paper, they're biodegradable -- unlike more commercial blotters, such as those from Clean & Clear, which are made of some kind of plastic polymer, are laced with chemicals, and are tested on animals. Give me these simple, natural blotters over the Clean & Clear ones any day!
Because these come in a pack of three, I keep one in my purse, one with my makeup bag at home, and one at my desk at work. Each pack has 80 sheets and lasts me several months. I have crazy oily skin, so I typically need to use 2-4 sheets (depending on the time of day) to absorb all the oil on my face. It's not hard to pull a single sheet out of the pack, or any number of sheets, for that matter. These blotters really do work, just as plain, unpowdered rice paper should. They come in a soft, flat, silver-colored vinyl pack. (I do wish Earth Therapeutics sold them in a paper carton package; then we'd be all set on biodegradability.)
These blotting papers are an effective, natural, non-chemical, non-animal-tested product that helps control and eliminate oiliness throughout the day. I would absolutely recommend them!
