I placed an order to have this lift chair shipped to my mother's home. The chair was not delivered when promised. I tracked the shipment and found that it was just sitting in the shipper's distribution center. I contacted Amazon.com, and my mother contacted the shipper to determine why the chair was being held at the distribution center. The shipper stated that they did not receive her telephone number from Amazon.com. I had provided the number when I placed the order. Amazon.com contacted the shipper, and the shipper promptly scheduled delivery. (This is the first time that I have had a problem with a drop shipment.)
My mother loves the chair. It is so comfortable that she reclines it and naps in it. The lift mechanism makes it significantly easier for her to stand up than when she sits on her sofa. Note: A tall (5'10") female relative tried sitting in the chair and said it was too small for her to sit comfortably in it. I have not seen the chair, so I can't comment on its size.
