This is a wonderful product especially if you live alone or have problems reaching your upper or lower back or shoulders. I use this after I take my shower or bath and apply my moisturizer to the hard to reach areas without a hassle. The gel like applicator is smooth and applies the lotion easily and effortlessly. This product is affordable and does a good job of applying lotion to hard-to-reach areas of my back. I agree with some reviewers that it doesn't rub the lotion in that well, but just getting lotion to those areas of my back is wonderful! I am no longer uncomfortably itchy all day. I used this to put sun screen on my back. I had trouble getting it to smooth the lotion on. I am not sure exactly why. Before I could figure it out the plastic cover came loose at the seams and the sponge started protruding. I think I used it a little over a month, maybe 25 times. This is the third type of lotion applicator I have used and it is by far my favorite. The roller type applicators get clogged easily. This one has a nice long handle and pad which does not absorb the lotion. It is easily washable and can be used over and over with different lotions or creams. I order these applicators for my dermatology office for patients to use for applying prescription lotions and other over the counter lotions and creams. Works great for those hard to reach areas on the back. The patients really like the fact that you don't have to replace the pad. Just wash it and reuse it!
