I received this scale as a gift and I like it a lot. It has an option to show weight either in kilos or pounds, the feature that I was looking for. The scale turns on by a gentle touch and has very nice, elegant design. I really like it!Customer Review: Very Bad Egg

Unfortunately I am not a happy camper. I took the scale out of the box, put brand new never opened batteries into it and it turned on. After it did it's tare, it turned off and it now does not turn on no matter what, even after a second set of new batteries to be sure it wasn't the batteries' fault. I am so disappointed because I read such great reviews and expected something a lot longer lasting. Customer Review: Great Buy

I like this scale very much. Seems to be doing an accurate job in the couple weeks I've had it--or else it is lying and making me think I'm losing weight. Ha! My only complaint, I guess, would be that the glass is cold to step onto on winter mornings.Customer Review: Easy to read
