Customer Reviews of EatSmart Precision Digital Bathroom Scale w/ Extra Large Backlit 3.5" Display and "Step-On" TechnologyCustomer Review: looks great, works great Summary: 5 Stars
I like this much better than my previous two digital scales (sorry, don't remember what kind they were). This one looks better than either of them, and gives a consistent weight each time I step on it (unlike my last scale which could give several different readings within moments of each other). I also like that I can just step on it and see my weight, instead of touching a button with my toe first or tapping it on first. Can't imagine how it could be improved at any price for my needs and tastes. Great value.
Customer Review: Works and Accurate Summary: 4 Stars
The scale works perfectly, its easy to read (especially in the dark) and it appears to be very accurate. Aesthetically the scale is very appealing with the glass top, silver outlines and blue LCD back light. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the feet on the scale makes a cheap plastic sound when you step on it. The stabilizing feet sound like they are going to break, I just felt like they should be metal instead of plastic for the price.
Although, I've no issues with it so far.
Customer Review: Useful and attractive Summary: 5 Stars
I love the look of this scale. It appears attractive and sophisticated, even for a bathroom! The digital light is off until I tap the scale, which for some strange reason, took me a while to get the hang of it. Then the bright lights are on (shows 88.88, then zero), and I can check the weight. It's easy to see the measure. I just wanted a simple, yet useful and pretty item, and so far it's doing its job. Batteries are needed, but so far no change is necessary. Hopefully I will not have to change them too often.
Customer Review: It works, I think. Summary: 3 Stars
So this is a nice looking, light-weight scale. However, you have to always weigh yourself twice on it to get an accurate reading. The first time you step on it, it is off by approximately +5 lbs. When you step on the scale again it gives you a number closer to your weight. So I guess this scale does work but it is annoying that you have to wait after the first reading is cleared off and then step on the scale again to get a more accurate reading. Which makes me uneasy as to whether the scale is accurate at all.
Customer Review: Great Scale! Summary: 5 Stars
I'm a bit "chubby" and am on Medifast. I had a Taylor scale and would get on it, check my weight, get off and let it turn off. Not a minute later I would get back on and gain 5 pounds. At that point I knew I was ready for a new scale.
The Eat Smart scale is accurate and does not change with repeated attempts like the Taylor. Now there is no more musical weight and I know I am losing it!
Accurate and attractive too! Everything you could need in a scale and a great price to boot.
