We tried Seventh Generation Powdered Dishwashing Detergent frst and got cloudy galsses and not very clean coffee cups and dishes, plus granular residue.
We switched to Ecover tablets and instantly saw great results. The month old haze and coffee stains on our dishes became sparkling clean in one wash, and got een better on the second wash.
The tablets are easier to use than liquids and powders too. We even switched from JetDry agent to the Ecover rinse agent and are very satisfied with that product too.
I highly recommend Ecover.

We moved into a home with a septic system and I wanted products that protected our system and were environmentally friendly. I came across these tablets on Amazon some time ago and after reading the reviews I decided to give them a try. I must admit, this stuff work better than any other dish washing detergent or tablets I've ever tried. My dishes come out squeaky clean, every time. It's amazing! Not only that, but there is something to be said about a genuinely "clean" dish. No phosphates, totally biodegradable, safe for aquatics and works 100%. Now that's a good product. Customer Review: No more chlorine chemical smell on the dishes- I switched!

I have always been put off by the smell of fragrance and chlorine from conventional dishwasher products. I used Electra-Sol citrus but still wasn't happy. I always want to know what I can do to be more eco-friendly, as well.
Ecover tablets are a hit with me on both counts after going through a full box. They really do a fantastic job of cleaning the dishes. All I did differently was go back to using a rinse agent in my dishwasher to get a top notch result, and the dishes and stemware heve never looked or smelled better. The citrus smell after using ecover is very light, not at all bothersome. Now, my food and beverages won't smell like dishwasher soap fragrance, and I won't worry about releasing excess chlorine into the water system.
I am very happy I switched.

For my machine, these tablets work better than anything else I've tried, even conventional detergents. I have tried a couple of eco-friendly detergents. The seventh generation didn't work for us at all. The other kids were marginal. I was very pleased when I tried these. Not only did these clean as well as the Cascade that I had previously used, but the results were even better. And, as other reviewers said, I don't get nearly as much of the residue that I ended up with using the Cascade.
I also love the ease of the tablets and the lack of mess. I'm hooked. I'm going to put boxes of these in family members' stockings this Christmas to try to get them hooked too.

I am really impressed with the Ecover Tablets. I haven't used dishwasher tabs before but I like how easy they are to use. It isn't messy and I always know how many dishwasher loads of cleaner I have left. The best thing is that it really works. Everything is cleaned and I don't have any film or powder on my dishes and glasses. I also like buying a five pack (boxes) of the Ecover at a time so that I have plenty on hand and can easily tell when I need to reorder. And I will definitely order more of Ecover Dishwashing Tablets.
