I purchased the Ecover Dishwashing Tablets last June and fell in love with them. I ordered the multipack of 5 boxes for exactly $22.08. I went to reorder them today and had a nasty revelation... the price has skyrocketed to $69.99. Are you kidding me??? I read through the other reviews and no one seemed to have a problem paying this much, but I can't for the life of me understand a jump in price that severe. What gives, Amazon? I can understand a few dollars... the cost of inflation, etc. But to go from $22.08 to $69.99 is really absurd. I will be finding another brand of ecofriendly dishwashing detergent that doesn't cost it's weight in gold.Customer Review: excellent and eco-friendly

We have been trying to become a more eco-friendly home over the last couple of years-but at the same time will not use a product if it does not work. These tablets have been working very well for my family. We have never had unclean dishes or residue left over, and our glassware has been spotless. We have been though two apartments also (where the dishwashers haven't been of the best quality) and the dishes were still clean. We always run a full dishwasher, but don't generally overfill, and we do pre-rinse stuck on food. But I will try to convert friends and family as this product does work and helps the environment.Customer Review: I wish it worked.....

The Ecover Dishwashing Tablets looked SO good - and I really, really wanted them to work, since I want to do what I can to help the environment....unfortunately, they don't dissolve well, and leave nasty streaks of soap all over my chocolate covered dishes - RAISED streaks, so I know it's not water spotting. I've tried a variety of ways to implement them - in the dispenser, in the basket, you name it, I've tried it - and with the same result. I don't have this problem with Cascade or something similar, so I'm pretty sure it's not my dishwasher. I would love to use them, but they've GOT to work - and they don't.Customer Review: Best Ever!

I have tried many different types of dishwasher detergent with only semi good results. When we got a new dishwasher we got the king that grinds up the food. It was better but still not perfectly clean. The best was Cascade Complete but we still had problems with etching. Not good. In an effort to be more sustainable I started trying eco-friendly products. I bought Ecover tablets based solely on the reviews and wow! My dishes come out perfect now! No etching and with some vinegar in the spot rinse dispenser my dishes now come out better than ever. My only complaint is that this product is not always in stock.Customer Review: Does what it's supposed to

I bought this from Amazon hoping that it would work well because it was in bulk. I've been trying to be a little more Earth friendly lately, and dishwasher products are the latest on my list of ways to go green.
I really like this product. It cleans my dishes just fine. I haven't noticed any difference between this and other products. To be honest, I always rinse off my dishes before sticking them in the washer anyway, so I couldn't attest to how well it gets off crusty, dried on food. My glasses come out nice and clear, though, and I don't ever see any food residue on anything.
