I got this because we are on a gluten-free, casein-free (GFCF) diet for my 3-year old and are trying to reduce the chemicals in our home. I bought a box at my local Whole Foods but it is MUCH cheaper bought in bulk here on Amazon. This stuff cleans GREAT! I absolutely love it. I ran out once and used some of my old Cascade. I was shocked at how nasty the Cascade smelled (esp. after being chemical-free for a while), and the dishes came out all filmy and gross. with the Ecover, they are absolutely sparkling. This is one of my all-time favorite products.

We moved into a home with a septic system and I wanted products that protected our system and were environmentally friendly. I came across these tablets on Amazon some time ago and after reading the reviews I decided to give them a try. I must admit, this stuff work better than any other dish washing detergent or tablets I've ever tried. My dishes come out squeaky clean, every time. It's amazing! Not only that, but there is something to be said about a genuinely "clean" dish. No phosphates, totally biodegradable, safe for aquatics and works 100%. Now that's a good product.Customer Review: 100% Satisfied with this product.

We tried Seventh Generation Powdered Dishwashing Detergent frst and got cloudy galsses and not very clean coffee cups and dishes, plus granular residue.
We switched to Ecover tablets and instantly saw great results. The month old haze and coffee stains on our dishes became sparkling clean in one wash, and got een better on the second wash.
The tablets are easier to use than liquids and powders too. We even switched from JetDry agent to the Ecover rinse agent and are very satisfied with that product too.
I highly recommend Ecover.

I have used these tablets for the past year or so and I am very happy with their cleaning performance. The really hard, caked-on stuff doesn't come off completely sometimes but I don't know how well any of the not-so-eco competition would perform, so I'm willing to do a little scrubbing now and then to get the environmental benefits. I have to say that the price for five boxes here on Amazon ($69.99 as of this review) is highway robbery. You can get five boxes from HerbTrader for around forty dollars! Amazon usually has competitive prices, but not in this case.Customer Review: the best brand out there and this product speaks for itself

For some reason amazon is promoting seventh generation .... but my experiences with ecover products far exceed the experiences with seventh generation. This product cleans without residue and no fragrance, unlike 7th generation that left my dishes smelling like a toilet bowl. Cuts through the grease and crusts - we just love this product. Also, more green in the packaging as we are dealing with more plastic. We still have a full bottle of 7th generation and I will use it for our toilets!
Amazon - please add more ecover products please!
