Customer Reviews of Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream Facial Treatment, 4 OunceCustomer Review: Fantastic Stuff! Summary: 5 Stars
My boyfriend works at Whole Foods and while browsing the Whole Body section I saw a price tag for a 30.00 jar of skin cream. Automatically I wanted it. Then I saw it was called Egyptian Magic, Ancient Kamitian Secret Magical Cream. Yes Please. "Peace, Divine love, perfect health, internal, eternal wisdom and infinite blessings unto you, precious one." GIMME GIMME GIMME!
I let the boyfriend know, I want this. (But I wasn't going to buy it for myself.)
Months later I had forgotten about it and he kept complaining of my scratching in my sleep due to my excema and came home and surprised me with it! It had been returned with an itty bitty dent from someone's finger with the description of "didn't work" More likely someone's husband looked at her grocery receipt and got upset by the $30 price tag.
So I've been using it on and off for a few weeks now and am very happy. I was nervous to put it on delicate skin for fear of breaking out, so I mostly just used it on my hands and forearms and dry leg spots for a while. Then I tried my lips and was wowed by the softness. Recently I got brave enough to start using it on my chest and neck and no breakouts...So I made the jump and massaged it into my face. It's definitely heavy and kind of gross feeling...but give it a half hour and it absorbs and leaves incredible soft skin behind. For that reason it's definitely not a day cream.
I left it at work one day and a coworker had a blister on her heel and she remarked excitedly how it magically healed up her blister.
Pretty great stuff.
Customer Review: 'Magic'..this name does total justice to this balm Summary: 5 Stars
I was kinda skeptical about how this one would work, but i'm glad i bought it. I use it for almost everything; My underarms were getting dark becoz of shaving, so i started putting this balm only at night and it unimaginable to see that the color of my underarms now matches the arm......I also use it on my face only at night- for people with oily skin, please do not be scared to use it, i have excessively oily skin and since i've started using this balm i haven't had a single breakout and my skin looks so bright and fresh in the morning, my pore size has shrunk extensively....Other than this i use it on my feet and put on cotton socks for about 15 min. everyday after shower and at night...oh and use it as a hot oil treatment once a week, u'll love the way ur hair would feel after wash. I recomended this product to all my cousins who have kids, becoz this product is chemical free; they use it as a diaper rash cream, body balm..everything..they all thank me for telling them about this secret balm. Once thing u all need to do is, since this balm is all purpose and u'll be using it on different parts of ur body, make sure u use a small spatula, spoon or anything to take out the balm since it is an open jar, and u don't wanna spoil the natural contents of it by putting germs and bacteria in it.
This small jar lasts really long, i've had mine for about a month now and even when i'm using it for everything, its not even half way. U'll love this balm, not just becoz its cheap, but also the magic it does.
Customer Review: Didn't work for my face but worked wonders for my hair Summary: 3 Stars
I'm in my early 20's and have nearly perfect skin but my skin is also extremely sensitive to creams and facial washes. I've been on a hunt to find the perfect cream and cleanser because I have absolutely no facial regime but I would like to have one to help prevent the signs of aging. I read hundreds of reviews before settling for this product and I tried it for about a week before I had to stop due to the break out I was getting. The break out was in the form of small bumps (not pimples or acne) but I assume that this was the result of excessive oil buildup just below the surface of the skin. This product seems to work for people with dry and acne-prone skin. My skin neither dry nor oily and I have never dealt with acne (thanks to good genes because my diet sucks).
However, I did have very good luck with using the product for my hair.My hair is wavy, thick, and frizzy (bad genes here). I've never been able to get rid of the frizzyness without using a flat iron, curling iron, or some heat-appliance for hair and I've tried products like CHI, Bio Silk, John Frieda, Bed Head, Hemp, etc, etc. Nothing has done the trick until now. After washing my hair, I take a fair amount (because I have ultra thick hair) of the product, rub it between my hands, then apply it to my hair. The product only works when I apply it to my hair while it is still wet/toweled dry; if I apply it when my hair is dry then it just makes my hair look greasy. Hopes this help
Customer Review: Excellent nighttime product Summary: 5 Stars
I have been using Egyptian magic cream for about 6 months now. I am prone to breakouts and it would seem to be counter-productive to put olive oil on my face but I have reacted really excellently to it. I generally use very expensive brands, but this works just as well as any $200 face cream I have tried. Previous to this I used an Erno Lazslo face cream that worked comparably, but was about 10 times as expensive. I find while working with a regular routine this moisturizer has made my skin smooth and firm with a healthy sheen and texture. Definately does not cause breakouts for me, if that is a concern for you. Very wonderful for winter dry spots as well.
For information's sake, I use Erno Laszlo Black Sea Mud Soap Erno Laszlo Sea Mud Soap, 6 oz. Bar, Retails $39, Boots No 7 Alcohol Free toner Boots No7 Soft & Soothed Gentle Toner 6.6 fl oz (195 ml) and Egyptian Magic Cream at night, same thing in the morning but subsitute La Mer SPF 30 La Mer La Mer The Spf 30 Uv Protecting Fluid 1.4 Oz as a moisturizer. I am in my twenties and have mildly oily skin.
Customer Review: best night cream ever! Summary: 5 Stars
I have been using Egyptian magic for the last 4-5? years as my night cream. I am 42 years old and have virtually no wrinkles. I always moisten my face first with a spritz of witch hazel mixed with rose water (I mix together in a mister)then emulsify the egyptian magic in the palm of my hand. It spreads easier all over face and neck. I also like to put it in my hair (small amount) after washing while still wet, then it combs out easily and makes my curls softer and shinier. It works great on dry hair (tiny amount rubbed in palms of hands) as defrizzer and shine booster. I also enjoy it as a hand/cuticle cream and lip balm. you can also use it as a female moisturizer or lubricant. I love that it has no artificial ingredients or preservatives. Remember, honey is naturally antibacterial. I am sold for life! It is expensive at whole foods, but I sometimes see a deal on amazon. just check the shipping charge first...sometimes you may notice a much smaller price only to realize the shipping charge makes it as much as the other "expensive" looking prices. I love this stuff and the jar does last quite a long time. Oh, by the way, I did try to make this at home once and it turned into a blob of sticky mess. I must have put too much bees wax when melting it down. The chemistry must be exact to get the consistancy of the original product.
