For my face I've got dry skin. So i took a very small amount of the hard gel, which is basically the consistency, and after rubbing it for a little bit with my fingertips, it really did turn into oil. There is no real scent to it besides it being a bit earthy? But anyways, after i rubbed it, i patted it on my entire face, and right away i didn't like it at all. First of all, my face looked SO oily, my whole face was shining. Time went on...5 minutes, 10 minutes, half an hour, and still my face looked really oily. It was quite sticky as well. But i slept with it the first night, and when i woke up the next morning, my face had a matte smoothness, if that makes sense. The oily appearance did go away, but my other moisturizer, Korres Wild Rose 24-hour Moisturizer, worked alot ALOT better than Egyptian magic.
I also put some Egyptian Magic in my hair, just at the tips, and i didn't even use a lot of it, only a 1/4 inch circle, and it looked like i didn't wash my hair in 2 days. I have fine hair by the way. BUT despite it looking all greasy, it did make my hair more shiny, and the texture wasn't that bad.
I had better luck on my scars, mainly on my hands, one knee, and on my back. The color was much much better and you didn't notice it as much as before, so a plus on that aspect of Egyptian Magic.

I had ordered this after reading all the rave reviews and have been looking for a minimally processed face cream with royal jelly. I have very sensitive skin that is easily irritated/acne prone and oily. I also have celiacs and A LOT of beauty products have gluten in them which is what i'm sensitive to. A couple days before this product arrived I developed a sebaceous cyst in my cheek the size of a golf ball. I lanced and drained it but the area was still swollen and bright red (and embarrassing). After 1 night of applying this product the cyst was almost completely healed (along with all the other tiny blemishes along my jaw line). I even applied this cream to my chest and back post work out at the gym and all the little red bumps cleared up. The product smells sweet with the honey in it and royal jelly is amazing for your skin as well as a nutritional supplement. My hair is badly damaged so I'm excited to try it as a hair balm as well. I HIGHLY recommend this product. I DID use it under my make up but I would suggest applying a very small amount to DAMP skin so that the product is absorbed and assimilated in the skin much faster. My skin glowed and my make up wore VERY evenly all day. BE AWARE- if you are allergic to bees you could have an allergic reaction to this product because of the bee by-products.Customer Review: Great ingredients

I love the ingredients in this 'cream', you can feel completely safe and confident about absorbing all of them through your skin into your body, with no toxicity at all. All are 100% natural and safe.( Not much on the market you can really say that about.)
That being said, I am not finding this as absorbable as I had hoped. Other folks are saying that if you put it on before bedtime, it's all absorbed overnight... that's not my experience. Frankly, I'm finding that pure shea butter (and I mean the real unadulterated stuff from Africa, not some lotion that claims it as an ingredient) absorbs and moisturizes better. However, it must also be said that the Egyptian Magic has a more pleasant scent than real, pure, unbleached shea butter, and also glides on with greater ease. So for delicate skin that you don't want to pull on, say, around the eyes, the E.M. might be a better choice. In fact,(and I say this as someone who was a professional massage therapist for many years) the glide and consistency of this stuff is good enough that you could even use it for giving a massage, if you wish.

The reviews I read about this product was what helped me to decide to give it a try.
When I received the jar of Egyptian Magic Cream I thought that the jar looked generic looking. The actual cream looks more like petroleum jelly than cream. While it may look like petroleum jelly, it is much more healthy for your skin than petroleum jelly would be.
I had noticed that my hands were starting to show age. When I would be driving and my hands were on the steering wheel, I could see how the skin would wrinkle and just looked old. I have only been using this cream for less than 2 weeks but I have notice a huge difference already. My hands actually look a lot younger.
So since it was doing such a good job on my hands within a short time I started applying it on my lips and on the skin above the lip. I am seeing my lips looking softer and fuller as well as the skin above my lip is smoother. This cream is turning out to be a really good buy. The results I have already gotten in such a short time is truly amazing. This will be a staple for me from now on.

I do not use this product. I have watched my wife use it over nearly 2 months and I want to share the results with you now.
My wife of 22 has struggled with acne since she was 13. It hasn't been what I would call severe as she has never had to go to a doctor for it but noticeable none the less. (Enough to say she has acne.) While she still has to deal with it, this cream has made a huge difference. She puts it on after washing her face before bed. She sleeps with is on her face all night.
Since using this her face has cleared up very noticeably. While she still has pimples, she only has about 1/4 of the amount she had before she started using this. A BIG change is the red blotches, scars, and constant problem areas have seemed to disappear entirely. WOW!!!
I wouldn't call this a miracle cream but it works for my wife. I hope someday (the sooner the better) her face will clear up entirely, but until then this stuff helps keep it under control.
She is a beautiful woman. I love her with everything I am. Thanks for reading.
