I purchased this Egyptian Magic based on all the rave reviews on Amazon and on other sites. Unfortunately, I dont see what all the hoopla is about? First of all, it smells AWFUL, not something I would want to walk around smelling like all day unless you are a fragrance wearer and can cover up this smell, yuck!! Ive tried this on my face and body, and though many say its a "miracle worker", they never really say what "miracles" they're seeing?? I guess it can be seen as a moisturizer, but I can think of plenty other moisturizers that are cheaper and dont smell like a BP Oil well?Customer Review: Best stuff ever!!

Egyptian Magic is truly magical! I first used it for a mysterious itching, spreading rash I had on my upper arm. My doctor gave me hydrocortisone cream fro it initially but that made it more inflamed and it continued to spread. After using Egyptian Magic for a few days the rash stopped itching and within 10 days was gone completely. since then we've used it for everything: facial moisturizer, hair oil, for lips and nails and most recently to treat a 2nd degree burn. It worked a miracle on the burn which is now healing with almost no trace of a scar. It is a household must have.Customer Review: Amazing results, scars are minimal

Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream (4 oz.)
My hand therapy specialist saw the results. My scaring was very minimal, compared to others, who had similar surgeries, I had 6, on my left hand. I rubbed the cream in and kept it moist. A year later, it is hardly visible to the naked eye. I have to look hard to find the scars. Previous surgeries, did not do as well, I didn't use the cream. Had surgery this year, again. Using the cream. It helps for dry skin as well.

I have bought various lotions for my husband and he never really "took" to any of them, until he found my Egyptian Magic. He loves it and uses it daily. He took over my jar and used it all up so we're back on Amazon to buy more! It does go on a little greasy, but then gets absorbed and leaves very minimal residue. This is not a lotion, but has the consistency of a balm. It has many uses - even taming frizzy hair. One of the main reasons we love it is because it doesn't contain any chemicals and is all natural. i use this everyday in MN winters! it is the best product by far for dry skin. (besides a derm prescription) i use this on my dry face in the winter, along with elbows, hands, legs, everything. my son has eczema and it works great for him too. no overpowering smell. no harmful chemicals. i like buying on amazon because it is cheaper than whole foods. i recommend it to everyone who complains of dry skin. buy it today and a jar will last a long time (unless you use daily like me) but then you wont mind paying the $30.
