I've had this Cervical gel pack now for a few months and it has been great! No leaking, soft and flexible and can be used for lower back for laying down. I've turned it vertically to go down the length of my spine and works like a charm. Highly recommend this for anyone that needs a good ice pack or uses daily because it holds up very well and the velcro is very useful at times.
Just remember to keep it in the plastic zip bag it comes with or use a freezer quart bag to store in. Will purchase again when this one starts wearing out, but it is holding up much better than any other ice pack I've ever had. With neck problems and back problems for 2/3 of my life, an ice pack is something I always have more of one of on hand. This one is a winner all the way!

Almost my entire neck is fused and is still constantly painful and stiff with spasms. I have several neck collars in hot and cold style. They are usually a little uncomfortable. Not this one, however. This collar can be heated in 30 seconds in the microwave or cooled in a freezer. It fits so well I forget I have it on and it provides the necessary heat or coolness I require. The shape (as seen in the picture) shows that it drapes down the back a little between the shoulders. This is very important because your cervical vertebrae actually go that low and it's important to get treatment to that area as well; not just two or three inches wrapped around your neck like a dog collar. I highly recommend this item to anyone that has neck problems.

It's not exactly how it looks in the picture. There are no "ears" that come up to the jaw and it's flatter. But does it work you ask? Well, I bought it for a hot pack and it does get plenty hot in the micro and it holds some heat for a half hour or so. And it's weighty so it lays flat against the back of your neck and spine. But the velcro closure in the front gets pretty hot so I don't close it unless it's cooled some. It's nice that you can wear it while you move around without it falling off. I think it's better than anything else I have. Haven't tried it as a cold pack because I already have some very good alternatives. I would recommend it. It's better than a neck buddy that smells like an old sock. There's no odor with this one!Customer Review: Fantastic

I bought this to provide some relief for my headaches and migraines It stays cold for about 20 minutes and cool for a while (just as they say). It is soft, flexible, and pretty thick. I'm very glad I bought this.
In case you have doubts this CAN go in the freezer and it does stay flexible and comfortable. I have not used it hot yet
My only warning/negative is if you have issues with constriction around your neck you might want to reconsider. It isn't overly tight as it is adjustable but the still could be a bit snug on someone with a larger neck, the issue mainly comes with how wide the collar around the front of the neck. My mother was unable to use for this reason but for me the relief far out weighed the mild discomfort.

This sleeve is the best product I've used for my injury, and I've been through a lot, looking for something that works right. It has excellent coverage of not only my shoulder joint, but the upper arm and a portion of my back and chest. It stays in place with two straps, so I can move around the house without fear of it falling off. Plus, I can extend the freeze time as needed by stuffing thin frozen gel packs beneath the sleeve, and swap them out as needed, though 60 minutes is about my limit.Plus, I've got to say that this company has an excellent customer service department that can resolve problems with ease and respect. It was a pleasure dealing with Cindy to resolve a problem I was having using the sleeve for heat therapy too.
