I have no issue with the battery; I would have liked to have known before hand that the installation was a bit tricky. Do not expect a quick fix; you don't just change out these batteries like any old AA or AAA. You have to remove the old ones and solder in the new ones. So if you don't own a soldering iron and don't feel inspired to learn a new skill, I would suggest buying a new shaver all together.Customer Review: Hard to replace, but worth it

The shaver design is somewhat over complicated I thought. One has to be very careful. However there are a couple of good sites that give you the instructions on how to do it. I bought these batteries, replacing the old ones. It was a bit tricky. You need to be really good with the soldering iron. But it worked out and I am happy I did it. My husband's Norelco electric shaver wouldn't hold a charge. Because he had just purchased new heads for it we thought about sending it to a repair center until I came across this battery at Amazon. Take your time with disassembly. Take care of some of the delicate plastic parts, and your shaver will go another five years. You will need a soldering iron with generous heat capacity, more than is necessary for most electronics because the connectors are larger than the usual 24 gauge wires, and absorb heat.Customer Review: Batteries Bring New Life to Shaver
