We purchased this humidifier at the local store here in town only because it would take too long for one to be delivered from here. When your baby is sick, everything is an emergency!!!
Initially, it worked great. Output was good, did not leak or anything. Until you turned on the baby monitor and tried to sleep. It was so loud, it made you think that there is actual static/background noise coming from the baby monitor. The two aren't even close to each other (one on opposite sides of the room.)
When you turn it on, it actually dimmed the lights a bit! I'm not sure it is because of the draw on electricity or that the wiring in my house is old.
After a few weeks, the glued on Elmo and Zoe figures started to peel off, posing a choking hazard for any baby. I was very careful not to get them wet while filling the tank, but they still are peeling off.
Overall, I think it was a good idea to get this humidifier when you're in a hurry, as you can find it at your local store. (Filters can be found for around $7). But do try some research and find a replacement asap.
