Customer Review: WOW! Excellent Skin-Loving Sunblock!

I ordered this sunblock for various reasons, but mostly, because I am allergic to chemical sunscreens. They irritate my skin and cause blotchy red spots that itch and flake for weeks. I also have mild Rosacea and sensitive/reactive skin. I read about physical sunblocks being a great choice for sensitive skin, and then started researching reviews. I decided to try this product due to it's non-chemical active ingredients, it's a tinted lotion, and there was large amount for the price (for a specialty facial product). This is really a skin care lotion, or at least it feels like one! I have no adverse skin reaction to it, and this is very gentle lotion sunblock. Today was the first day I used it, and I applied over my usual moisturizer. My husband noticed that my face looked a little "dewy-er" than usual, but otherwise could not tell I was wearing "makeup" so I will try without moisturizer tomorrow. I have tried a sample of a different physical sunblock that was green-tinted, and while it helped color correct the rosacea-affected areas of my face, it made the non-red parts look ghostly and washed out. This has a nice sheer tint that I thought would be too dark for my very fair complexion as it came out of the tube, but it blends into my skin invisibly, and gives me a soft wash of gentle color while calming the appearance of the red parts. As for the sunblock properties, I beleive it does an excellent job. I was driving with my husband in the afternoon and the sun was shining in just beyond the reach of the visor and directly onto the side of my face. I could feel my ear getting warm, but absolutely no burning sensation on the rest of my face where there is sunblock. I would highly recommend this physical sunblock to anyone with sensitive skin who wants a great value of UVA & UVB protection in a gentle, lightweight, tinted lotion.
