I purchased my first Emjoi TweeZe at CVS drugstore last year in the as seen on TV aisle. I was amazed that this product actually worked exactly like it was advertised!! I misplaced my first one (I think my daughter "borrowed" it) Anyway I didnt want to go without this amazing device and searched three different area stores- unable to find it I went online to Amazon and ordered a new one right away. This is a really great product for getting rid of those unwanted facial hairs that seem to pop up out of nowhere. I highly recommend this for anyone that wants a quick and virtually painless (it does sting a bit at first) way to rid yourself of those tiny annoying hairs on your face. I am now looking into their epilator product for my legs. If its anywhere near as good as this works, I'm buying it!!Customer Review: Hair removal torture

This review first said: "I used this product only one time, and I'll never use it again. It tore out all the hairs from my chin, sure, but the swelling and scabbing as a result is something I'll never forget. It was also very painful while it was extracting hair. I'll just go back to my trimmer/tweeze method to keep them away as best I can."
Then I read a review by marys mom who suggested to lightly dab the problem areas instead of running straight across the skin and decided to give it another try. This time I found the procedure much more bearable and not the degree of irritation I felt the first time. My only wish now is that the instruction pamphlet would make that same suggestion as the hair removal is remarkably effective...thanks marys mom!!!

I was never sure about using this little gadet but when my mom ordered it and didn't like it, I tried it and LOVE it! She didn't like the discomfort it caused and didn't think it pulled out her really tough hairs very good. I, on the other hand did my whole chin, neck and most of my cheekbones. I'm only giving it 4 stars because I tried to do the upper lip and OUCH - would rather just lighten those with bleach cream. The rest of my face is soft and smooth and its been 5 days now. I was worried about stubble but nope, none of that because its tweezing,not shaving. I highly recommend. PS, my face was a little red afterward but that went away and they don't recommend if you have eczema or rosecea (I have both) but I didn't shave in those areas.Customer Review: Effective... but painful

OK, the pain isn't exactly excruciating, but it isn't mild either. I have to prepare myself for what's coming, before I use this little gadget. It is effective, which is what matters most I guess, but I really do not care for items that are advertised as "this", and end up being "that". This product should not say "PAINLESS" on the package. That is a lie. No, this isn't a matter of opinion, and I am not overly sensitive to pain (I have 9 tattoos). It hurts. Period. It is also VERY LOUD. It sounds like friggin moped.
Out of five, I give it three stars for it's ability to do what it says it does... remove hair. Minus 2 for shocking the hell out of my face, and scaring my cats with it's obnoxious tone.

I have a combination of coarse and fine hair on my chin area and I have been tweezing every day for at least a decade. I bought this product because I can't afford laser hair removal and even with tweezing every day I often feel stray hairs just hours later. Well, I used the Tweeze for the first time only three days ago -- and my chin area is still almost completely smooth. The device is not all that tricky to use (although the directions are not much help), I did not find it painful, and it did not cause any redness. I am not saying this is a miracle product, but so far I am quite satisfied with it. I think that if it can produce such satisfying results for me, perhaps it can for you, as well.
