Customer Review: yeah--don't try the eyebrows

I have had this for about 3 months and have used is on most parts of my face. Not precise enough to really do details of the eyebrow arch, so I lost a bit of one eyebrow when I got too confident in my skills.
This is not a painless process, nor quiet--there is a motor sound. The fresher the batteries, the quicker that hairs are pulled and the less painful it is. It is far better than hand tweezing if you have much area to cover. It really does tweeze even very short hairs. I really like it but I don't like waxing or chemical hair removers. If you prefer tweezing to these, you will probably really like this product.

I just go this item. I have fine blond hair fuzz on the sides of my face and some on my chin, which was really bothering me. I also have darker hair on my upper lip that i usually remove with a cream, but that leaves my skin red.
This product worked quite well on the fine blond hair on the sides of my face. I was surprised how much hair was coming right off. It was a little addicting! I used it a little bit on my upper lip, but it does hurt/sting. It doesn't remove every hair,but it makes a definite noticeable improvement. I am very hard to please, but I like this product. It got rid of the fuzz.

I HAVE PURCHASED ITEMS FROM AMAZON BEFORE AND HAVE NEVER BEEN DISAPOINTED. UNTIL NOW. WHEN MY PRODUCT ARRIVED I WAS SO EXCITED TO TRY IT TO REMOVE SOME UNWANTED FACIAL HAIR. IT WAS HORRIBLE! I FELT LIKE I WAS BEING ZAPPED WITH A LASER GUN. I THOUGHT IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN SOMETHING I WAS DOING WRONG, BUT THERE IS VERY LITTLE TO NOT DO RIGHT. I ASKED ONE OF MY CHILDREN TO TRY IT AND THEY MADE ME LAUGH. THEY SAID "WHAT IS THIS, A WEED WACKER? This little machine is the first invention that has really helped me to control a prickly hair problem on my chin and upper lip with no residues (like wax to clogs pores) and just a bit of discomfort (pulling the hair gives a little pinch). The cost is minimal, the design is very comfortable in your hand, and each day I touch my chin to find it as soft as a baby's bottom. It really is quite a problem solver for just a minute or two every few days. Head and shoulders above tweezing. Emjoi is a fine company selling equipment that does what it claims to do. My mother is vision impaired, and for us, this device is a gem. Before the Tweeze, I used to spend an hour of every visit together tweezing, trimming, waxing, etc. Now, she uses her Tweeze a few times a week and our visits are much less 'hairy'.
Of course, it hurts for a microsecond when hairs are ripped out of your face, but to me it's a satisfying little jolt. I admit to giving this as a gift to friends and relatives!
Bottomline: it works best on strong, dark hair vs. fine peach fuzz. An added bonus? It exfoliates and removes dry skin skin wherever you use it.
