Customer Reviews of Emjoi AP-9T Tweeze TweezerCustomer Review: efficient but painful Summary: 4 Stars
I was surprised at how efficient the Tweeze is. However, both I and my mother are a bit put off by the small, sharp pains. On the first use, we both checked repeatedly to see that it was not actually cutting our skin. It is important to keep skin taut also. I had some skin irritation on my upper lip after first use. I must add that using it frequently keeps the hair short and sparse and there is less pain - more like a vibration.
Customer Review: Don't waste your money Summary: 1 Stars
This was a total waste of money. It would be less painful to burn your facial hair off with a candle than use this. I've given it several go's and the results are terrible and the pain is almost off the chart! My eyes water like crazy & I can only do a little bit at a time. It says it pulls the hair out by the roots, but from the looks of the results, I think it scrapes them off at skin level. A horrible product! Get an epicare instead.
Customer Review: Good but not great Summary: 3 Stars
I bought this product mainly to see how epilators worked in the first place. I tried it out on the top of my hand and then on my upper lip. IT does rather quickly remove the hairs, but frequently (about half the time) it cuts them instead of plucking from the root. I think this epilator is good if you are short on time and need some quick damage control before going out. But if you want flawless results, you need to wax or string.
Customer Review: Emjoi Tweeze Tweezer - Happy With It Summary: 5 Stars
This product is good for removing fine facial hairs. I still use tweezers for a few of the thicker hairs. The Tweeze is not quick and it is not pain-free but it is preferable to using a razor which leaves stubble or using the larger Emjoi products designed for legs which can "beat up on" your face. It takes a little practice to get the right angle at which to apply the Tweeze. Overall, I am quite happy with my purchase.
Customer Review: Fell for this again. Summary: 1 Stars
I can't believe I fell for this again, since I tried the Epilady years ago and returned it, and this is the same thing, only smaller. I can rub it all over my chin for five minutes, and it won't pull out any coarse black hairs, so what's the point? Every so often I feel a sharp sting, so it must get a fine hair that's just the right length at times. So, in the end, I still have to tweeze every day. Seems kind of pointless.
