Customer Review: Avoid these, they self-discharge and die quickly

I purchased 12 of these late last year. After 4 months of low to medium use, they stopped holding their charge -- even when not placed in a device. I lost several camera opportunities when I found that all the batteries in my camera bag were dead just days after being charged.
I still use them but make sure to drop them in the charger a few hours before they're to be used. It's better than just throwing them away. Definitely not "Great for the environment" if you end up throwing them away within 6 months. :(

These batteries where purchased for use in my new digital camera. Traditional batteries would die in my camera after downloading 100 pictures to my camera; now I can take 100 pictures and then download all of them and theses batteries don't drop below half charge. They are well worth the money, and now I am on my way to replacing all of my disposable batteries with rechargeables.Customer Review: Awesome batteries for all of my small electronic devices!

Remotes, Wii Controllers, MP3 portable speakers, Umbrella Lights, X360 controllers, Solar rechargeable patio lights, and many other uses. while some reviews are that these don't hold well in digital cameras, i have found that for all of my above listed these batteries perform very very well. I own about 20+ of them, and i have yet to have one that has gone bad over the past 4 years of using this brand. My only problem is the mass amount of devices that i have that use AA batteries, and that is the only reason i own so many. The small 4 battery charger is all i use, and has worked great for years!Customer Review: Buyer beware! Totally unreliable!

I emphatically second NLee's description of the unacceptably high self-discharge rate of these utterly unreliable batteries. I figured I was "all set" because I bought two sets of these batteries for my Canon PowerShot A630 a year and a half ago, so that I'd always have a fully charged set in reserve. Guess again!! Every time one set wears out, my backup set has died on their own via self-discharge and I end up having to use regular non-rechargeable batteries. For a while I thought there was something wrong with my camera, but my cheapo RadioShack battery meter tells me otherwise. AVOID THESE BATTERIES LIKE THE PLAGUE!!Customer Review: Great batteries.

The batteries work great and last a good while, in my Wii I've gotten at least 60 hours of use. Not entirely sure what the norm is so your mileage may vary. Just make sure if you use two batteries in a single product, you keep the same two batteries together.
