I picked these up for my sons digital camera/video recorder as he was always running out of juice w/ the regular rechargeable batteries. These are working great for him- now he keeps going and going and going. Maybe I'll switch them back!LOL
Seriously, these do work great and do charge much quicker than the regular versions- to us, well worth the money.

The batteries seem to work well, BUT the charger can only charge in multiples of two, making you have to BUY more batteries than you need! Many toys now require odd numbers of batteries, and you can't charge odd numbers of batteries! Very disappointing. Also, there's only one battery charge indicator light, so detecting problems is difficult.Customer Review: It killed my batteries

This item charges your batteries fast but they're never the same again. My batteries that have put in this charger now last 1/4 of the time they used to, and lose power very quickly even when not being used.
Save yourself the expense of buying new batteries and use the slow charger, the fast charger is not worth it.

My 3hr. charger was not fully charging batteries, and I was looking for a replacement. This charger really does the trick! Warned me that some of my batteries would not hold a charge; Charged others fully in 15 minutes, and allowed for a further 10 minute boost. What a difference!!
You won't be disappointed.

I have had other chargers that broke or did not charge. The energizer is great. It even charges non energizer brands, even though they tell you not to do that. The charge time is really fast and you can charge 2 or 4 batteries. Make sure you unplug the device when not using or else it continues to drain electricity.
