I love this charger. I bought one and a Canon digital camera. I loved them both and I gave them to my daughter as a moving away present. I then bought another Canon digital camera and the same charger. I don't understand why anybody would be willing to wait longer to charge the batteries when this is so convenient. I have charged several different brands of batteries with both chargers and neither ever gave me any trouble at all.Customer Review: A Piece of Junk

DO NOT BUY. The red light always flashes which tells you there is a problem with one or more of the batteries. The machine worked fine the first time I used it and after that only flashing red lights. I put the same batteries in my 8 hour charger and there was no problem.
I wish I had saved the packaging so I could return it. I used Energizer batteries and made sure everything was clean. Don't waste your money!!!!

Worked great for a few months, now I get a lot of flashing red lights indicating a problem with a cell. Out of the first 4 cells, one was rejected form the charger. A week later a second cell was rejected. Instead of buying new NIMH batteries every three months I bought a different brand of charger and the cells that this unit won't charge will charge fine in the new one. Can't recommend this Energizer charger.Customer Review: Great charger and batteries

What a great difference!!! I used to have another recharger and some different type of batteries (I don't remember their names) and it took 6 hours to recharge them and one day of taking pictures and they lost their power. With these ones I took almost 1000 pictures and did not have to change them. And indeed they get recharged very fast (it takes around 20-25 minutes, not only 15, but still it's a great product)Customer Review: loudest recharger evah

the good: it works and it's fast. fits aa and aaa.
the bad: it has a rather large power brick and it's super loud
Loud? hyup, this recharger has a fan that while small, makes a ton of noise while it's charging the batteries. I wasn't expecting to need ear plugs just to recharge my batteries.
bottom line: worth it for fast recharging but the noise factor is significant.
