Customer Reviews of Energizer Rechargeable AA NiMH Batteries (8 Pack)Customer Review: Rechargeable batteries are great Summary: 5 StarsThe rechargeable batteries work well. I have had them for over 5 years and they still last a long time.
Customer Review: Have kids? You need these batteries. Summary: 4 StarsAs a new parent, these rechargeable batteries have helped us save money and the environment. Our baby has so many battery operated gear it became ridiculous to keep up with all the batteries needed.
Now, we keep a set of AA batteries charging and replenish our baby's toys, our remotes and anything else quickly and easily.
These batteries last a very long time and seem to be as comparable if not more so than regular batteries.
Customer Review: Junk Summary: 1 StarsI have about 40 of these things. I thought I'd replace all the AA in the house and trusted the name. The 2500AH rating suggested they had the storage power to work in almost any application. I've used nothing but 2 Energizer's chargers purchased as part of a package with batteries. These things are junk! They exhaust very quickly in every application I've used them in. They also loose their ability to recharge in short order, I doubt it is 10% of the advertised endurance. I went back to alkaline for now until someone can produce a good rechargeable. Good idea, terrible quality!
Customer Review: How much did you save, though? Summary: 5 StarsHow many times have you charged the batteries? Each time you have charged them, it saved you money from having to buy NEW batteries. At $12.99 / 8 pack...how much did you save by not having to purchase new batteries for your device? I think it is a fair trade off, IMHO.
16 pack of Energizer batteries are currently $13.75. So, if you charged your NiMH batteries 20 times, how much did you save? My experience with NiMH batteries have been pretty good. I had a set of Kodak batteries for 6 or 7 years, and am now just replacing them with 2 of these 8-Pack Energizer AA's.
Customer Review: Not good. Summary: 1 StarsI've tried 8 of these and they do not work in my digital camera or wireless keyboard. In camera they last maybe 30 seconds before camera shuts off. In keyboard a little longer, but either misses keystrokes or hold down the keys.
The Duracell AA NiMHs work great using the same energizer charger. 6 hours of video recording in camera, and 2-3 months between recharges in keyboard.
