I bought this a little over ayear ago because we needed a scale with a higher capasity with a normal price. It was a great scale until it just stopped working even after putting in new batteries. It really sucks when you had weight loss sugery and you are monitoring your weight loss rigorously to not be able to have your weekly weigh in. Time for another scale I guess... but it wont be this one unfortunately.Customer Review: You won't be dissapointed.

Unfortunately for me, this scale is easy to use and very accurate. Now I have no excuse or no one to blame when the pounds increase instead of decrease and the BMI goes up and not down. Seriously, it is fantastic. I compared the results with the super expensive, high tech devices at my doctor's office and my health club and they all gave the same response. I've been very impressed with this Escali scale. It's solidly built, sturdy, very attractive, has many features, has a high capacity, and perhaps most importantly it's very accurate and consistent. It's also very reasonably priced. I can't really think of much to complain about. This is the only scale I've ever owned that I actually trusted. This scale fulfilled a need (weight capacity over 400 pounds) but is quite different (in measurement) than my other scale body composition unit. The other issue is that the readings vanish pretty quickly, so I had to do multiple measurements (and at times, with varying measurements on the same person).
Overall a nice scale, but a few problems with accuracy and readings.

I LOVE this scale. It feels so solid and well-made and looks so nice. It takes about a minute to set up a user profile--super easy-- and you just step on and get weight, body fat, body water, in a matter of seconds. It's a little hard to select a user (you have to hold your foot on the scale until the right number comes up, then quickly take it off), but I'm getting the hang of it.
