This scale was off by about 25 pounds. My wife and I have been dieting recently and we were discouraged by our weight after we first got this scale, since it seemed kinda high.
Well, she went to the doctor the other day and her weight was 25 pounds lighter than what this scale was telling her. She went to a friends house and tried that scale as well, which agreed with the Doctor's scale. So, we sent it back in.
The second scale we got reported the same off weight as the first one; 25 pounds difference in the 5 minutes it takes my wife to weigh herself at home and then weigh herself on her friend's scale.
Don't buy it unless you enjoy subtracting 25 from everything it tells you.

We bought this scale based on other reviews and the price relative to others on the market. We've been using it for a few weeks now and love it. It's very stylish, and super easy to use. To activate the personalized weights (including body fat % and water %), you just step on the scale and hold for a second while it cycles through each person (1, 2, 3...). If you just want weight, you step on the scale to activate, step off for a second as it sets to zero, and you're ready to go. We like that it registers down to 0.2 lbs - precise enough for us to use to weigh our small dog and infant. We tested accuracy when we first bought it and it returned consistent weights for myself and my husband three times each.Customer Review: Great value

Very pleased with is scale. No problems with setup, easy to understand directions. Good quality, sturdy and display is easy to read. My husband is 6 feet 7 inches and it definitely lives up to it's accuracy for weighing large capacity. To measures percentage of body fat it is very sensitive. To use you must press your foot on the left side of the scale until you see your user number, but you can not touch for very long or it will pass your number and stay on the next users number. You will then have to wait for the scale to reset to try again. So, take care in pressing directly in the middle if you only want to use the weight mode. Received the scale in December and have been using it for at least 3 weeks.
The scale switches on very easy when you lightly tap on the scale with your foot - (only one tap required). It also weighs pretty quickly and consistant. The setup for the different users are easy to do. The start-up to weigh yourself and get the other perks take a little longer than if you just want your weight. We don't use that option daily, but intend to use it on a weekly basis. Just weighing yourself is easy and quick. My wife loves the scale. Yes be careful when you get on.... you have to stand on the metal contacts, that way you don't have a possibility that the scale will tip over.

This scale is classy looking with a glass surface and feels smooth.
It is not easy to set up and complicated.
It is also unstable and wobbles and could cause a fall.
If you are wanting a pretty scale that you must use caution when weighting this would be good but it flips up when stepping off the scale if your not careful.
I did a search for talking scales and this one came up.
However it does not speak and has many modes and selections to choose from and is very difficult to use.
I would not recommend this for someone who was at a risk for falling.
