Looks like a great scale, but I had to send it back to Amazon (a process that was amazingly easy). The box the scale came in was clearly marked, "Not for use by persons with pacemakers or other implanted devices"...
So.. since my husband is getting a pacemaker this week, I had to send the scale back. It really should state that about pacemakers somewhere in the description, but, since it did not, I thought I would give everyone a heads-up.

this scale is great because it has a higher capacity then most, tried to use it without firt reading the instructions, and found that we needed to use the instructions, but work great after we used as directed. There are quite a few that are around the 300+ limit but this is only one that looks nice, nice materials and goes up to 440lbs and has some other fancy features like allowing each individual to track their weight. I bought this scale after reading many of the glowing reviews, feeling that it was unlikely that I would also receive a defective product. Unfortunately, after barely 60 days of use, the scale ceased functioning entirely yesterday. It is well outside of the return period, too, so I won't be recouping any of my loss on this one. My advice is to skip this brand's poor quality and find a better, cheaper scale that won't quit so easily!Customer Review: Nice scale at a reasonable price

The scale is very nice for the most part. It looks sleek, has good functionality, and measures fairly consistently. My fiancé and I both use it, and like it. The only reason it gets 4 instead of 5 stars is that switching between users is a bit cumbersome. You need to press on the scale until your user number appears and then release. If you are not user number 1 (I am number 2) it can be easy to overshoot the user number.Customer Review: Even the imitations of this scale are awesome!

I got this scale around jan 1st. 2011 and I've lost 20 pounds since then and this scale helped me keep track of my numbers. Its body fat percentage isn't the most reliable, honestly no scale has true body fat measurements.It has 10 different profiles, so other members of the family can track themselves too! My girlfriend bought the same exact scale but by Orzani, and they both work perfectly. a good scale by any name.
