Wow, am I impressed. This item delivers. I had a small safe that was getting musty and all the documents felt soft and damp. I charged up the Eva-dry, stuck it in and BAM! (Emeril Style) The next day everything was dry and crisp. I recharged the unit over night and stuck it back in the safe. It couldn't be easier!
And those of you who read the other reviews and see people write things about not being able to tell if the crystals are blue or pink, IGNORE THEM. The people that wrote those are obviously dumb or blind. This product couldn't be easier to use. If all the crystals aren't the same color, then either plug it back into the wall, or keep letting it do it's thing. Enough said.

I bought this mini-dehumidifer to keep my gun safe nice and dry. It does just that. Before I put it in there, it was a little damp and I even started to get a little mold on some paper ammo boxes! Not cool. So after giving up on uncooked rice (which does work) I bought this little guy. I read some reviews where people said it was hard to tell when the unit needed to be recharged. I disagree with them. I had no trouble what so ever. When the indicator window is blue, good to go...when it turns pink, recharge. Cake! Note : I am using this in a small enclosed area (gun safe). I would not think that this unit could dehumidife a whole room. Though it says it's rated for 333 cubic feet of space.Customer Review: eva small dehumidifier

The product arrived within a reasonable time period so I have no problem with the purchase from the supplier. However, I should inform those who want to dehumidify a space larger than a cabinet that it needs recharging regularly. I have placed them in closets, a glass-fronted bookcase, and out in the open and they take only a few days to require reccharging via evaporation using an outlet. I would have ordered a larger unit if I had known this. They do work but are for small spaces. I live in a fairly arid environment as well so those who live in a more humid locale - say the east coast should upgrade to a larger model from the same manufacturer. This being my first purchase through Amazon I was a little hesitate at first. I've been looking to purchase a dehumidifer for my damp closet and in doing research, found that Eva-dry are the best out there for the price point and size. This dehumidifer by Eva-dry does what it says, removes moist damp air in the smallest of spaces, even worked on my buddy's safe. i've had this gadget in service in my safe for about 6 months. i ordered it through amazon and got it very promptly. (great place to buy from with confidence) it works exactly as advertised. it's easy to regenerate by plugging into a wall outlet for 12 - 24 hours and is then ready to go for another 4 or 5 weeks. i live in a very high humidity area near the gulf coast and i've tried other manufacturers types that required regeneration in a microwave or regular oven and was not happy with the results at all. however, i'm more than pleased with the eva dry e-333 wireless dehumidifier and have recommended it to friends and would do the same it to anybody without reservation.
