I got this for a friend who just started out as an EMT, after going thru it together we decided it was fairly complete and did only need an ambu-bag and a c-collar. I recommended a couple of small instant ice packs in a hard case and more ace bandages (never have too many). And later gave her my extra blood-clot pack. I picked up the ice packs and the blood-clot kits at a sporting goods store for less than $20. After about her 5th call out she decided that 3 sam splints were the norm to carry for her. The bag is bulging now, gonna need a new one soon.
