Customer Review: Good thermometer - but take care not to get it wet!

Does the job, and the beeps and last temp recall are very handy features. I would have been thrilled to find exactly this thermometer with a backlight, but I can't seem to find one that doesn't also beep constantly while in use (rather than just to indicate readiness). The only other drawback is that it seems to be a bit delicate. If anything but the very tip gets wet, the display goes blank or partially blank, and it needs to be dried out before it will work properly again. I haven't found this to be the case with other thermometers.Customer Review: great but needs a light

This product works great and allows me to monitor my cycles (not anymore since i got pregnant:)) My only complaint is a light would be nice. I find myself fumbling with a flashlight, my chart, and a thermometer while trying not to disturb the dog or my husband. Takes temperatures like a charm. It does take about 2 minutes but i have found the ones that claim to be quicker aren't as accurate. Plus i just doze off and wake when the beeping tells me it's done. It gives you an excuse for 2 more minutes of snuggling!Customer Review: Memory is inconsistant

The memory feature is less to be desired. It more often sets back to the default temperature when holding the ON button. It is a pain to have to get out of bed and walk across the room to turn on the light to read it and record it right away. I bought it because of the memory feature and am displeased with the lack there of. Now I just keep a flashlight next to the bed so I can record it right away. I wouldn't recommend this one if you are counting on the memory to be correct last temp taken.Customer Review: just okay

I've been charting my temps with this thermometer for a little over a month now, and while it works fine, it does not recall the last temp like the product description says its suppose to. Also, it would be really nice if the display lit up. I have to get up right after its done and turn on the light so that I can read it. And it seems to take a long time. I'm new to temp charting, so maybe the time it takes for the thermometer to get your temp is fine, but it feels like it takes forever.Customer Review: Basic

This is a basic thermometer. It beeps when it's ready to be read, but it does not have a light. I would recommend getting a thermometer with a light...if you can find one. It's much easier, I had one several yrs. ago.
Basal Body thermometers are hard to find anymore; many drugstores don't carry them. That's why I ordered this one on-line. I wanted it right away, so I didn't pay much attention to the features. All of the product features are as indicated from the maker.
