This is a great idea and works just as good as a fan. After using a fan all summer, I had to replace it with something. Reviews were mixed however I took a chance and am glad I did! I used this when I took the kids to the country in Texas and it blocked the outdoor noises like cows, coyotes, and dogs! At first I thought it sounded like static, but after a day it became the fan noise. My little ones now know it's time to sleep when I turn it on!
Highly recommended in kid's room or for travelers, money well spent.

I find this CD a great option for rest, sleep, and relaxation. It drowns out background noise so it somehow doesn't affect you. Luxe Vivant's prices are great and they also ship FAST.Customer Review: don't waste your money

It is a silly recording of exactly what it says it is. Save your money and put towards buying a Marsona SoundScreen 980 white noise sound machine. I liked it so much I bought another one. I wish I had not bought the Fan noise CD.
