This is a good product, but still too much to pay for a straightener. Hair has to be basically dry anyway. I hava a Paul Mitchell for half the price, and it's definitely good. Although this is a good straightener, it's not worth twice the price. (And I got a good price on it! About $150 including s/h).Customer Review: Worth every penny!

This flat iron is okay but I was surprised to find that my favorite is the ConAir Nano Silver Flat Iron. It is half the price and it works much better. I got it from Walmart! Who would have thought it would be better than Chi! I use it with the chi silk infusion or BioSilk Silk Therapy.Customer Review: BE WARNED!!!

Our flat iron broke after minimal use in only 4 months. Normally that would be a small problem, but the seller "Payless Beauty" did not disclose that the manufacturer does NOT warranty items sold over the internet. We would recommend buying only from a brick and mortar establishment.
