For years I've been using Bon Ami when I clean houses for clients who don't like the scent of other cleaners like soft scrub. For some reason I never tried it on my own bathrooms because normally a spray cleaner worked fine. That was until I purchased a chlorine filter for the shower/tub. Something strange happened. Whatever was filtering out the chlorine started to bond with the tub so there was a silver film in the tub that was impossible to remove with normal spray cleaners. I even tried soft scrub and that didn't work. So this week I decided to try Bon Ami on the problem and used the product with a wet brush. It took a bit of scrubbing but all of the silver residue finally came off the tub. The result was a sparkling clean shower/tub without any scratches. If nothing else is working, try this. I can almost guarantee it will solve most of your cleaning problems. I now plan to keep Bon Ami in my kitchen and bathrooms. I like that it doesn't cause any respiratory problems like spray cleaners can.
