Customer Review: Glass Magic Makes My Life Easier!

We recently moved to upstate New York and we live in an area with very hard water. Like others, my glasses were coming out with a thick white film, my dishes weren't completely clean, and my silverware was spotty. I couldn't stand it and everytime I emptied the dishwasher I had to take a clean dishtowel, wring it out with clean water and wipe out all of my glasses, and wipe down all of the silverware. I swore that if I ever found myself in a position again where the dishes came out clean....I would never grumble again about emptying the dishwasher! Upon searching the internet for a solution, I discovered the great things said about Glass Magic and read the glowing reviews on Amazon. I ordered immediately and I don't think that I have ever purchased a product that I have been more happy with. I use a little less than the recommended amount - I get at least seven washes per box and my glasses are literally sparkling, the dishes are spotless and the silverware is gleaming! The dishwasher has lost it's buildup of white dull finish that had developed from the hard water too. I wouldn't say it's a joy to empty the dishwasher now, but I really don't grumble anymore and I always marvel at how clean the dishes are.Customer Review: Cleans!!

Purchased a new dishwasher and was looking forward to having our glasses and dishes finally not having that white residue when washed. Well, even with the new dishwasher we had the same results as our previous one....residue still!!! After research online, we purchased Finish Magic Glass Magic. We add a 1/4 cup of Finish Glass Magic to the bottom of our dishwasher and were amazed how well it works. Our inside of the dishwasher is stainless steel and not only did the dishes and glasses come out residue free but the tub was completely clean and shiny. I recommend this if you are suffering from residue or hard water stains on glasses and dishes. I also recommend the liquid dishwasher cleaner Finish makes also, especially if you are planning on buying a new dishwasher in the near future and want to keep it top notch!! Only complaint I have is the way it was shipped from Amazon. It is a powder and was able to spill out of packaging and all over the shipping box, spilling out when opened, causing a mess and powder to go everywhere which could be toxic to pets and small children who may be near by. They need to seal the original packaging with plastic of some sorts. Great product! Poor packaging.Customer Review: even works w/ Pelican water conditioner!!

We just built a new house and have hard water. I chose to use a Pelican water conditioner instead of a salt based softener. So it helps w/ scale on appliances but leaves the minerals in the water. We tried EVERYTHING to get the dishwasher to work correctly. We had technicians out and they all said the washer was working correctly. We increased the water temperature, used/didn't use rinse agent, used different detergents, etc. We even switched out dishwashers! But the second one (a different brand) was no better. Not just spots, but it didn't clean the dishes. So I searched the net, and found recommendations for Lemi-Shine, and Glass Magic. I found Lemi-Shine at a local store and tried it first. No help. We literally began using the dishwasher as an expensive drying rack for hand washed dishes. So I broke down and ordered some Glass Magic. From the very first load, the dishes were spotless, clean, and the dull stainless steel of the washer tub was bright again! I am a believer. I was having problems with hard water in my dishwasher, even though I didn't realize it! My dishes were coming out dirty, many of them had a nasty white film on them that I THOUGHT was the dish soap, and I was ready to replace the dishwasher itself. Well, come to find out that after researching all over the internet... I have hard water issues and all these are symptoms of hard water. I saw that Kitchenaid recommended using "Glass Magic" and decided to give it a shot before I tossed the dishwasher. Well, I have to say that my dishes have come out amazingly clean ever since I started putting 1/4 cup of this on the bottom of the dishwasher during each load. I am so glad I gave it a shot. We considered putting in a water softener in our house, but this is MUCH cheaper and much more worthwhile. The boxes are small, so last time I ordered a dozen of them, and I go through about 2 or 3 of them a month with doing one dish load a day on average, so you can save on shipping if you order a whole bunch at once.Customer Review: Best product ever!!

This is the best product I have ever used in my dishwasher!
We moved into an older home 3 months ago, which has hard well water.
For the last 3 months, my dishes and silverware have been coming out of the dishwasher dirty, and I have had a horrible white film on all my glasses. I thought my dishwasher needed to be replaced, and since because of finances that wasn't an option, I resigned myself to the fact that rewashing clean dishes was what I was always going to have to do. After researching this problem on the internet, I came across this wonderful product. So far I have done 3 loads in my dishwasher using this product to try to get my glasses looking like new again, and they finally are!
I think for me though, it will be cheaper(even minus the shipping)to purchase this product at my local Shoprite which carries this. I would think most grocery stores carry this, so for everyone purchasing this online, it's something to check into.
