I was taking soup to work a lot, so I bought this thermal container as well as a thermos brand container. This is large and the lid on the bottom compartment doesn't stay on tight, so if you put anything in the bottom, it would fall out. This product also doesn't give me the tight seal I want to keep all liquid in. If it tilted, some soup would leak into my lunchbag. The spoon is nice in that it extends (the one in the thermos is so short it is difficult to use) but this one does the job well but can unlock and fold if you aren't careful. I don't recommend this item - get a true thermos.
