This is a good product, it's well made and allows you to place a useful number of liquid-gel items into the bag securely since it uses a zipper rather than one of the "zip lock" seals that you'd use with an ordinary plastic bag. However, if you're considering this purchase for a trip abroad, you should beware. Two days ago as I was getting through security at Heathrow, the security people held me up for over 15 minutes while they lectured me on proper safety precautions, including the fact that they can't accept one quart bags that have zippers rather than the "zip lock" seal. I'm inclined to think that this particular group of security people were just having a bad day (and so, in turn, was I), but you should probably keep one of the disposable quart "zip lock" type bags handy in case you go somewhere besides the US.
