Customer Reviews of Foot Baths - Heated foot bath

Customer Review: Not as agressive as i wanted...
Summary: 3 Stars

I purchased this unit about 3 months ago and have been somewhat dissapointed. I am on my feet alot at work and run alot outside of work, so you could say my feet are in need of some pampering! This machine has a very light touch, and i was looking for something with more umphh behind it.

The roller balls are pretty useless, and the water jets are lacking in action, however the heating element is excellent. I would prefer a unit with some massaging/vibration action. I will continue to look for something to replace this unit.

Customer Review: A few questions. Not a review.
Summary: 5 Stars

1/I'm looking for the deepest foot tub. Are there depth measurements for the top two: Brookstone's 'Aqua-Jet' and Helen Of Troy's 'Pro Ultimate'. 2/Brookstone mentions it can maintain 115deg water, but Helen claims to be the only unit that can heat cold water. SO: Can Brookstone heat cold water? & what temp can Helen of Troy maintain? 3/MOST IMPORTANT: Will these units run dependably if they are regularly filled with 2 cups Epson's Salts per gallon of water? (It seems likely that some water agitators/jets/bubblers may be ruined by heavily mineralized water.)thanks

Customer Review: Big enough for size 13 feet but too slow to heat
Summary: 3 Stars

I am constantly surprised at the differences in the reviews, not as to how many stars the product deserves, but on the objective facts. How, for example, can people differ on something like size, which can be measured. Well, without wasting more words on this, I can only say that I wear a size 13 shoe, and the foot spa was big enough for me. In other words, I didn't have to squeeze my feet in, and my feet didn't touch the sides, or the back or front, when I was using it. What else can I say?

Water heating capability is another thing people disagree about. Personally, I was disappointed, even though I gave the unit a head start by filling it with warm to hot water before using it. Even so, it took so long to get the water hot that I thought the heater wasn't working. Finally, though, after fifteen or twenty minutes, I began to notice a rise in temperature. My advice for using this product, then, is to either fill it with hot water or let it work for, say, twenty minutes before climbing in. The first alternative is obviously the better of the two.

I just got the unit today, so I haven't completely explored its usage, so I'll just say that it only got three stars from me because of my disappointment with its heating ability.Foot Baths - Heated foot bath

Customer Review: Heated Foot Bath by Brookstone
Summary: 4 Stars

I purchased this product for my husband who was suffering with foot pain. He feels the product is well worth the money and has given him relief in his foot discomfort. He would recommend this product to prospective purchasers.

Customer Review: NOT WORTH THE PRICE!!
Summary: 1 Stars

Considering the price, this unit was a real disappointment. Within a short time the ice blue plastic "topper" cracked and had to be tossed. The foot bath was not as deep as I was anticipating and as far as the heat and jets they were just so so. Hugely overpriced for the quality of product it is. Better than other foot spas on the market, but not $70-$80 better. If this were priced under$50, it would be worth it in my mind.
