Customer Reviews of Foot Baths - heated foot bathCustomer Review: Not as agressive as i wanted... Summary: 3 Stars
I purchased this unit about 3 months ago and have been somewhat dissapointed. I am on my feet alot at work and run alot outside of work, so you could say my feet are in need of some pampering! This machine has a very light touch, and i was looking for something with more umphh behind it.
The roller balls are pretty useless, and the water jets are lacking in action, however the heating element is excellent. I would prefer a unit with some massaging/vibration action. I will continue to look for something to replace this unit.
Customer Review: Quality Product Summary: 4 Stars
I am also disappointed that the instructions say no salts. I told my wife to give it a year before we try to put salts in it. At least let her get some use out of it before we put it to the test. Other than that she has had no complaints and the salt thing doesn't bother her a bit. The product works as advertised; very well. I will write back in year and let you know about the salt experiment.
One warning: Make sure you pull the power cord out before you fill the tub with water. I'm sure others will agree...
Customer Review: A+ Summary: 5 Stars
First, this is a big and cumbersome.... but second, this is the best foot spa. Got it for the wife and had to try it myself. I am a wuss when it comes to super hot temps and I had to ease into the heat, it stayed hot the entire time. The jets were nice and the wireless remote is priceless (just make sure its in your hand when you sit down so you don't have to move an inch :) ). The rollers on the bottom are nice too. It gets loud when on high-jets mode, but nothing to grand. Fast shipper, would recommend.
Customer Review: Brookstone foot bath Summary: 4 Stars
The product works very well. Some of the design functionality could improve. The cord wraps on the bottom so you have to lift and turn over before and after use to unwrap and rewrap the cord. It easily fills with pitchers of water (to avoid filling and carrying to where you wish to sit) but to drain the water you either have to lift it (and it isn't light when filled) or put on pedestal to allow to drain into a basin so you don't have to lift to empty out. Other than that it is fine.
Customer Review: original excitement squashed Summary: 3 Stars
initially excited about this product. Must say after 1st use, I haven't used it again. It's cumbersome to use because it's heavy to carry after filling it with water. I do like the fact that the water continues to be heated. One of the things I originally liked was the pumice stone. But it's in a position, where you have to take your foot out of the water to use and even then it's not that effective. So if your primary objective is to use it for exfoliating, it's not very good at that.
