Foster for an animal rescue group and have cats and dogs of my own. Have asthma so even if I wanted to use the pretty smell cheats I couldn't. But Fresh Wave products do the job. There is a pleasant herbal scent for a minute after you spray (which does not set off my asthma) and a minute later nothing but fresh air. I have also used the jars of crystals that you leave sitting open in the room and the liquid activator. All have performed beautifully. Have used both spray and activator on accidents on carpet. (Although if dealing with urine I would go for the activator
since spray wouldn't penetrate deep enough.) Next project will be to try adding activator to carpet cleaning solution.

I first discovered Fresh Wave when my husband put our small grill in the back of the SUV while camping. I stunk up the vehicle something awful so I started looking for a product to neutralize the odor without an overpowering perfume smell. In a shop outside of Yellowstone I ran into Fresh Wave and tried it. The odor was gone over night. A few years later we had a used car business and the smell of the cars after the auction cleaned them was very bad, so I would sit a small bowl of the Fresh Wave crystals in the cars for a day or two and they would smell wonderful. I think anyone that needs to neutralize an odor will be very happy with this product. Also try the spray.Customer Review: Absolutely Amazing

Had a problem of walking in house and getting a nice bright wave a kitty litter odor to the face. I had moved the box around various parts of the house but the smell would eventually work its way around. Bought one of those citrus air fresheners, which really just 'added' a citrus character to the poop and ammonia, and did nothing to cover it up. Picked up a jar of this stuff and threw about half a cup into a plastic dixie cup, set cup on top of litter box and presto, smell gone, not masked, not added to, but gone. Truly I didn't really have any exceptions of how well this would or wouldn't work, but it truly eliminated the litter odor. Amazing, highly recommend.Customer Review: Really Eliminates Odors

This is a great product and really works to eliminate some of the most powerful odors. We bought our house not realizing there once had been a fire in one of the guest bedroom vents (the HVAC technician was mystefied). We were left with an unpleasant, lingering odor of smoke, especially on warm days. I bought a small jar of Fresh Wave to try and the odor was totally eliminated. A small bowl (2-3 ounces) lasts about three months in a 10x10 room in our mild Northern California climate. If it works on fire smoke, I believe it will work on just about anything. It's not cheap, but amazon has the best price for the 64-oz jar that I've seen. I highly recommend it!Customer Review: It really works!

I bought this product because there was a dead animal smell emanating from the wall in my utility room. (I am assuming it was a mouse.) Almost immediately after setting out two small bowls of Fresh Wave, the smell was gone!
The scent of this product is a little bit like Pine-Sol, which isn't my favorite smell, but the strength died down after a day or two, or I just got used to it. But I much prefer the smell of this product to decaying mouse!
I also put a bowl in the downstairs bathroom and it helps in there too. (I have three little boys who often "miss.")
I highly recommend this product.
