I was checking out at a store, and this product was by the register. I looked at it, and the cashier started singing it's praises with more enthusiasm than would have been generated by a 'sales meeting'. This woman was speaking from her heart. Well, I'm skeptical about such things, but I decided to try it since I knew that I could return it.
Well, the only returning will be my returning to the store to get some more.
It does what they say it will do. Eliminates odors. I occasionally get a small scent of the product, but not much.
Count me as another happy camper!

I'm honestly not sure if this product will work in the long run because I could not leave it around the house for more than a couple weeks because of the odor it emits. It's not a bad odor but my first thought upon opening the product was "public bathroom". I gave it a try, hoping that the odor would dissipate quickly. It did lessen after several days but I could definitely still smell it after two weeks. Also, I could still smell the original odor I was trying to get rid of in the first place, but maybe if I had left the product out longer it would have eventually worked.Customer Review: If a mouse died under your floorboards, this isn't going to help.

A mouse died under my floorboards. The smell of rotting flesh is overwhelming in my small, apartment living room. I can't afford to take the floorboards up to remove the mouse; I must wait it out until the mouse finishes decomposing. Several websites mentioned that this product would help with the odor problem.
I have had TEN bowls of it on my living room floor for two days now, and even with the windows open, my living room smells like corpse with a hint of cedar.
If you're trying to eradicate the smell of death, look elsewhere. And my heart goes out to you.

I purchased this product because with I live in an apartment with high ceilings and windows that are painted shut so as one can imagine odors often linger. I filled 3 bowls with these crystals and placed them around my living room. However, because it is winter, and I live in the east coast, I have the heat on. Apparently, the heat evaporates these crystals rather quickly as they are water/gel based. Anyways, I can't recommend this product because my living room is too big for the crystals to have any effect and the crystal dried up in a few days.Customer Review: Warning for Cat Owners

Essential oils such as pine (pinus sylestris) and citrus (limonene and citronella) contain high levels of monoterpene hydrocarbons which are very toxic to felines and cause elevated liver enzymes (liver toxicity). Felines cannot excrete these toxins. Symptoms of poisoning from toxicity in cats due to these essential oils in litter, deodorizers, pet shampoo, and insect repellant include but not limited to paralysis, instability, disorientation, unconsciousness, and severe hypothermia and dehydration, and death.
